Web Moments: Dave's site - where I learned to make my Java Lakes and overlay lakes! Lots of applets and tutorials for them. (See also Dave's wife's site at Poetic Dreams for some lovely poetry accompanied by lake applets!)

Lorraine's Lakes: Some very good, clear tutorials for applets, including this one for using the Horizon Parameter in lake applets that allows you to specify the height of the horizon (using David Griffith's lake applet).

The Bubblegum House Snow and Lake Combo Tutorial: Well written tutorial for making combination applets such as this one.

Treasure Trove: Paul Gallagher's Site - this was the site that really inspired me to get started on Lake applets!

CSP Backgrounds: This is part of a much larger site but this page features a lot of beautiful uses for the Snow applet plus a snow applet tutorial.

Tarek Fouda: Great applets from this German site (English Text - no worry!)- some wonderful effects!

Java Script Kit: Lots of free applets, tutorials and links to other Java sites.

Java Boutique: Again lots of simply stunning applets - some free, some commercial.

Anfy: THE applets program with shareware and freeware versions. 40 fully configurable applets with a wizard for use by beginners. Download is free and the program is fully functional but registration payment enables the customisable link feature when online.
